I wasn't allowed to vote in the local elections. It didn't surprise me as they were never very keen on me voting here. Needless to say it looks like the regional government will be feral with ovine tendencies. I expect the tree haters have won the day. To be quite honest, the election was rather low key and other than a few confusing posters and a call from one candidate, we were poorly informed about it. The longer I live here, the more cynical I become.
