If you can't beat them...

Yesterday we forgot to leave part of the welcome pack at the Lodge, so today we popped out and left it for them.  Looking for a blip we made our way back along the Lake.

Our first and as it turned out last stop was at the NT carpark at Aira Force.  We had noticed the "white horses" on the lake as we drove along, so went for a walk down to the "steamer" jetty.  It was blowing the proverbial hooley.  The wind was so strong you could lean into it and feel supported.  At times it felt as if the unwary could be blown over.  I had an unexpected dash up the field in pursuit of my cap.

The blip was taken up near the road, the jetty is out of sight to the right of the shot.
