Flowering Hosta

A patch of colour in what we call our rockery - actually a rather wild pile immediately below the kitchen window.

Spent several hours in the garden today: a little bit of tidying in the front garden and cutting back a fallen bush (an old bush which was once part of an overgrown hedge) in the back garden.  The green (garden waste) bin is now full, with overflow into our neighbour's green bin, and still several containers of garden waste to be taken to the recycling centre.

Good use of a dry and often sunny day.
