Norwich double take

Got to Phillip at 9am after checking yesterday where he lived. I'd been looking for Knights Road, which didn't exist. On rechecking with him, and his deep 90year old Norfolk accent, it was in fact Norwich Rd! We made it in good time, despite some confusion with his directions took us nearly back to Fakenham! I was enjoying his life story telling so hadn't questioned it! He was in and out in 15mins with a clean bill of health and treated me to a coffee. I checked in with FK and he was up and showered and waiting for Nanny to pick him up. Back at Phillips bungalow, which is sold as he's moving into warden assisted accommodation, I noticed his house name. A mix of his and his late wife Ethels names...Phithel. I suggested he took that with him.
I rang mum to see if she'd taken FK back home....she hadn't picked him up! She'd removed the bag of compost from the back of the car herself....onto her walking trolley!! I told her it was great she could be so independent, but taken away the opportunity of showing FK how its good to help others and giving him a sense of satisfaction when you're kind to others.
Frustrating.
Had an hour or so back at home with lunch and the papers, before driving back to Norwich to meet MrK at the station...he's managed a couple of days off. We were early, so went to the forum to see if there were any trails we could do for a couple of hours. There was an art exhibition in the centre and this beautiful drawing of bluebells struck me. We decided to go to the castle museum instead, but found we were too late for last entry. Had a cuppa and cake in The Two Magpies instead.
After meeting MrK off his train we stopped off at the Real Greek instead of going home in the rush hour. He wasn't such a good chef as the one at Westfield!
