The edge of the farmyard

All sorts of metal railings and gates, some in use, some redundant, are at the bottom of the slope of the farmyard. The water is still trickling down from the rain and on the left over the fence is the slurry pit, built for the dairy when we had cows, now we just have beef cattle wintering in.  The oilseed rape is visible in flower - much too early this year, what will happen to it I don't know ....

C and her dog are staying with me for a couple of days.
