After the storm

Because there has been no frost in recent weeks the Rhododendron Grandeflorum  has continued to show off its huge yellow and white trumpets.  

Indeed so  good was this year's flowering that I have blipped it twice. 

But Storm Kathleen finally put paid to the display  , and now the blooms are spread all over the front lawn, accelerating their decay.
