A day in the life

By Shelling

First out

Tree tufts of daffodils grow below my veranda, they have been budding for a few days and in the afternoon sun one of them decided it was time. The others followed but there's always someone leading, next year it'll be one of the others.

Good day. Rehearsing Dowland with Ove, the cellist this morning, Doing a couple of machines of  washing and hanging it outside  when the sun broke out. I spent quite some time out there, having coffee and an ice cream and -at least thinking about changing my tyres into summer ones. Maybe tomorrow.
