Caravan holiday time again....

Pushing our luck today with a third day of semi dry weather. It's forecast for heavy rain again tomorrow so sent Kev up the hill with a trailer load of big square bales for the lambing field. We lay them out to make a big pen for building lambing paddocks in. Charlie took the 5 star shepherd accommodation up with the John Deere.
The contractor sent his crew up to spread a midden of dung on a stubble field then in with the plough. By tonight the rain had started again so won't get it sown tomorrow.
A trip down to my mechanic pal tonight to hand in a V5 for an old Land rover we have sold. Got him to bleed the brakes on Littlemiss's car while I was there . Coming home was the usual game of dodge the potholes/ craters. Midlothian's roads are a disgrace.
