Latest book and a Blip meeting

I needed a change from books about American politics so I looked for a good historical novel. I suspect many Blippers will have read this. It was certainly a good 1,000 page read. I very much enjoyed it but among other things it brought home to me how comfortable and stress free my life has been compared to the lives of ordinary people in the 12th century.

This afternoon Mrs. K. and I had a very enjoyable tea party with Blipper Chrisf. We found we had a lot in common including a love for the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape.
