Bignor Park

I braved a fairly long journey today while Mrs Catspaw was at work, and drove almost 40 miles each way to Bignor Park, which has long been one of my favourites among the Sussex gardens that are open to the public once in a while under the National Garden Scheme.

And I was very glad I did: the garden - and its surrounding landscape - looked magnificent under scudding white clouds that cast intriguing shadows on the land.

And of course there was tea and cake to be had as well, as can be seen in one of today's 'Extras'...
