Wide Wednesday: Sign

There are a couple more of these signs at our local park, which is actually land donated by the Clark’s shoes family for the leisure of the local community back in the 19th century and, therefore, any activity which would prevent other users enjoying it is, quite rightly, prohibited.

Mind you, if I were practising my golf here the hedge on the left and the big tree on the right would be in more danger than anyone actually straight ahead of me on the park.

Not a day for golf of any sort today: wet, windy and cold. We went to Dobbies Garden Centre at Shelton Mallet to buy a few more plants and had to fortify ourselves with coffee and cheese scones to warm up.

The blip was taken on our way to the supermarket for ingredients for tonight’s dinner.
