Overflow sinkhole?

There are a lot of new houses being built in Linton and Sandra and I walked that way to check out the Horseheath Road development which now has mostly occupied houses and is looking pretty smart.

It has been controversial  because there was a lot of damage to property in nearby 'Lonsdale' due to flooding when we had a lot of rain.  The developers were required to put measures in place to prevent this ever happening again, and I'm guessing this is one of them.  View from the other side (and of Lonsdale)  in extras.

It's not a very attractive feature - yet - and I'm hoping someone can keep me up to date with the status....
