Sycamore tree and blossoms in the neighbourhood.

The Feast Day of Saint Guthlac.A soldier who fought for King Ethelred, then the King of Mercia. He became a monk in an Abbey.
The Feast Day of Saint Stanislaus. Died April 11th 1030. Patron saint of moral order, Krakow and Poland. His status was Bishop, martyr.

Today is mercifully mild, dry and sunny, so far. I checked the temperature on Google and it said 15c. This is warmer than in a long while.

Paul has kindly replaced the polycarbonate panels, in the roof of the greenhouse and he bought a few tubes of sealant to secure them in place.
The weather has given others more testing and serious challenges, so we are grateful nothing more terrible happened as a result of what seemed gusty winds at that time yesterday.

I bought our newspaper, did some washing and fed the cats and garden wild birds.

I vacuumed the downstairs rooms.

I went to collect and read at home a Parish Church newsletter.

I was happy to see Father Edward, the vicar, and two church supporters, chatting at the back of the church. The Church still needs ongoing money for ongoing maintenance. It is a lovely building.

I was thankful to find blossoms to photograph in the context of our neighbourhood, on my way home to have lunch and then listen to Holy Mass from Ireland.

Have a great Thursday blip friends and thank you for your prayers and comments.
Steps 10162. This is more steps that in a long time because it was sunny today.
