Walking the plank

A rather hectic say at work staff off sick and others on holiday lead to things been like the old times with only 2 of us in the office since mid morning but like before we survived  and made it to the end of the day.
I didn't hang around to long after 5 so once home and changed a walk to find a blip .
I went down near the river and was rewarded when I spotted this Grey Heron just stood on the lock gate . I was able to get very close about 12 foot away (3.5 meters ) before it walked across slowly allowing me to capture it and its reflection .
Blip sorted and back home for a relaxing evening watching some darts due to there been no rugby tonight as its Challenge cup weekend
