Boaby's in the bad books.....

Mainly dry and breezy today. Cattle fed ,then loaded 10 tons of barely seed onto a trailer and sent Kev off down the road to drop it off at the contractors shed. At least now if/when it ever dries up the seed is there ready.
I headed next door for another load of silage to feed things here. By the time I came back it was lunch time,so stuck a pan on the aga ready to cook an omelette. Came back to discover everything still stone cold. The aga had gone out. Bugger.
Went and got a ladder and checked the kero tank. Not a drop in it. Double bugger.
So phoned Les to order fuel. Not only is the price eye watering ,but they are very busy. Will try and get a load in tomorrow,but no guarantee.
So no Aga,no hot water and no radiators. Switched on the electric emersion heater to see if it works,but not hopeful as dripping out round the top of the tank.
Decided to go away and spread slurry to keep out of the way !
And no doubt when the fuel is delivered,all the filters will be choked,will need to bleed the boiler fuel pump and the aga will refuse to light. The joys.....
