Burn baby, Burn....

Another day of chaos.
Cattle fed,Kev on mucking out and bedding. Me on bagging feed, then silage in to slats cattle, followed by a trip next door for a loader bucket full of turnips to feed the sheep still in sheds here.
The lorry turned up with half the order of kero at lunch time, so had to let the tank settle until tonight before tackling getting everything going again. Both fuel filters were choked,so had to wash them out with petrol,then had to bleed the fuel pump on the central heating boiler. Eventually got it going then tackled the Aga.
Took the burner out and cleaned everything. The wicks were ok so didn't replace them. Connected the fuel pipe back up and got it to stop leaking,then eventually got everything to light. By tonight the temperature was half way up the guage and a nice blue flame,so fingers crossed that's it sorted.
The cow in the extras was looking like calving today and she had when I went to check at 7 pm. Unfortunately she had picked a spot up near the water tank where it is so wet I couldn't get near her on the quad bike. Hopefully it will have sucked by the morning,if not I will need to think of something to get her in. Ho hum
