Arrowtown …..

….. ….. ….. colours. So vibrant and glistening in the rain.
It seems to be getting more and more intense every day.

Our weather during the storm was what we needed; good steady rain. But it’s been terrible over on the West Coast, plus a pillar of the rail bridge over the Rangitata River south of Christchurch has been washed out, damaging the rail structures. The rivers flowing eastward have turned into torrents. My heart goes out to people distressed and exhausted by yet another catastrophe - especially people in Christchurch who are still struggling with earthquake difficulties & challenges. Plus the pandemic.

My heart is lifted by the autumn colours, they’re so beautiful and refreshing, quite a foil for the traumas; bringing peace, albeit slowly.

I’ve had quite a day of it in several ways and am thankful for the warmth & love of family and friends.
