A wet and windy forecast...

...so we headed for the West coast for some brightness...

An explore round the harbour in Maryport this morning - stayed dry - and a stop for coffee. Amazing industrial history, all the way back to the Romans!

Moved on to Silloth for a spot of lunch at Mrs Wilson's and a wander along the prom to have a chat with the Big Fella - the rain had arrived by then,  so not a lot in sight out to sea!

Sadly, a message to say tonight's performance had been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances arrived as we had lunch - how disappointing!
