Looking the Other Way

The sunshine was brightest this morning but this big, purple pulsatilla flower was not facing into it.  I think they are beautiful whichever way you look at them.

A busy day.  As fine days are few and far between here so far this year, I had done multiple loads of washing yesterday in the hope of getting a lot dry outside today.   There was too much for the line but nonetheless most of it was dry by tea time.  Collected Jamie's hand bike after its service and walked Meg along Gwalia afterwards, pleasantly warm in the sunshine.   Home for a bit, then off to Dolgellau with Jamie before his afternoon appointment there.  We got lunch from the excellent DD's bakery and sandwich bar and sat outside in the sunshine to eat it.

Back home again for an hour to gather in the washing before heading out for a Blipmeet with Lovetrees who is here for a few days volunteering on the railway.  J will soon know the rules better than I do!   Fish and Chips at the seafront before walking Meg up the lane at Rhydyronen towards sunset.  A lovely, sociable couple of hours.   Might just be time for some clay play before bedtime.
