Again and Again

Ballet

For our breakfast, we returned to the place we'd enjoyed tea yesterday. The scrambled eggs were creamy, the seeded bread delicious and it came with a huge pot of black tea.

After breakfast Elaine and Emma headed off for a museum and suitcase replacement mission. The rest of us headed to the Strodska District.  On route we  passed a ballet school and Adele was easily persuaded to attempt to replicate one of the poses displayed on pictured around the central courtyard.

We came across a statue of a pope surrounded by hyacinths whose scent filled the air and I enjoyed  the black and red brickwork,  the stained glass and the ceilings of the old cathedral.  There are lots of huge murals here and the 3D scene near to the cathedral did not disappoint.

We crossed back over the river and headed to park where we hope to parkrun tomorrow and enjoyed a chai latte amongst the cherry blossom trees and the art in the park before contour exploration.

The kaisers Palace was our next stop and we stumbled across what we assumed to be a remembrance event with TV cameras and a marching bands before it was time for a wheat beer and a huge crumble like cake in the court yard.

We enjoyed gooseburger, chicken and meat dumplings for our dinner.
