“Yay! There is water flowing in the river…..”

Yes, after 70mm of rain falling over the last two days there is now water flowing in previously dry stretches of the Taylor River. The wind had swung around to the southeast which then causes good amounts of rain to fall in the Taylor River catchment deep in the Wither Hills. Maisie, who had become used to scampering along the dry riverbed of late, was puzzled by the flowing waters. In fact I had to stop her jumping in for a quick dip. It was flowing too fast for safety.
