Violet time

All of a sudden, wild flowers are appearing all over the place. Today it was the turn of the violets to be snapped for my blip.
Bertie and I were back at Quinish for our morning walk and I was pleased that we had almost completed the circuit before the rain arrived. I like the way the beech trees in the extra seem to be bowing (or should that be boughing?) over the path as we walk by.
The violets were in our own little birch and hazel woodland where the wind blew with an icy blast this afternoon. There were even hailstones in the showers.
