A walk in the park

A bit of a change for us on a Sunday in the fact that we travelled to watch some live rugby League. Wigan was away at Castleford in the challenge cup quarter finals .
This a lot different from the Last visit earlier in the year. we got very wet as the game was played in heavy rain back in February also they are looking to make some improvements to the ground this meant the side terrace was closed to supporters they are putting seats in that area. In my view it might look better but will reduce the ground capacity they are trying to do things on the cheap .

A very enjoyable afternoon saw Wigan win convincingly 60 - 6 the only downer on the afternoon was Willie  Isa one of our long term senior players went of with a dislocation and break in his lower leg area so that could be him out for the season and possibly be the end of his playing career fingers crossed I'm wrong as he has been a great servant to the club.
Back home and watching the final quarter final match which we recorded on TV which saw Warrington beat St Helens. . The draw has been made for the semi finals and we will play Hull KR at a venue to be confirmed
