My topsy-turvy life

Prehistoric Wrekin

After a long walk along the river and then back to the Quarry for a long play in the playground, Owen announced that he wanted to climb the Wrekin. Because I'd said last week thay we could, I thought we at least had to try.
So, bag packed with treats we set off. He did brilliantly getting up to the halfway house before deciding he'd had enough. It was probably a good job because it took us ages to get that far with Owen stopping every few metres to investigate something new, from interesting streams, to holes, to walls, to trees shaped like a brachiosaurus that he just had to sit on. We stopped for a rest and a snack* before heading back down a bit quicker than we went up.

Next time to the top...
