Capturing the moment

I wa out in the garden with my camera when I heard geese and managed to get this as they flew overheard.  At this time of year they are migrating back north. The treetop is the maple tree in the corner of our garden which has a mass of pale green flowers at the moment. This is the first blue sky day for months so I'm very pleased to have been able to capture the moment.
We spent the rest of the day in the garden. The borders in the front garden had been taken over by wild strawberries. After filling  some trays to transplant in a more suitable location under the back hedge we took 4 barrowloads to the compost heap. The grass has had its first cut so it was altogether a successful day.
The forecast says another dry day tomorrow so we are hoping the potential tattle patch will have dried off enough to dig over.
