Surprise bluebells.
The surprise was that they were growing on the giant roundabout at the junction of the M8 and the road to Braehead shopping centre. Having arrived at Braehead by train and then bus I was walking in the pouring rain to retrieve our car from the garage. The route involved waiting for the green man at ten crossings, some of them over 4 lanes of traffic. Eventually I found myself ON the giant motorway roundabout for a good ten minutes. so had time to snap these with my phone. The fact some are pink show that they are Spanish bluebells which sadly are prone to hybridise with the native Scottish bluebells which are therefore becoming rarer.
The extras show the general ambience of the route.
Time for a little something now I think.
