My Companion

The painkillers provided yesterday worked initially, but were not adequate in the longer-term. In consequence I have been in a great deal of pain all day and the only relief I could get was by laying in one particular position on the bed, until an additional stronger painkiller was provided. During this period, Dougal who seemed to understand my problem, came up and laid very quietly close to me. Mrs GOG took this picture of him while he was laying there and is posting it for me.
