Velvety Grey

I like the softness of this grey fern. It provides a nice contrast to the green plants around it.
Aqua aerobics today, then later hubby went to a lunch with his friends. I did grocery shopping while I waited for him. The tiny tortoise pictured yesterday was walking around the garden today, but I worry about the dogs finding it. Pumpkin will probably think it's a toy. There is a tortoise rescue centre nearby - I think it may be best to relocate it there if I see it again.
The weather today was strange....a hot Autumn day reaching 31 degC! I took advantage of it and washed net curtains.
