… which lacks chlorophyll and obtains its food from decaying organic material with the help of mycorrhizae. I don’t think I’ve blipped these before but at the moment they are in pristine condition with all the rain we have had recently.

With Wildmint we found so many magnificent specimens of Late and Early Spider Orchids, Burnt Orchids, Man Orchids, Fly Orchids and two types of Early Purples all glistening in the rain.Thank you Wildmint for dragging me away from repacking syndrome! Off at 5am tomorrow, Francoise is about to arrive. She’s staying here and David will take us to the train in the morning.
