Photo Challenge Day #16: Stairs

There are quite a few restaurants and other businesses close to the beach that have stairs leading to upstairs or rooftop party areas. Most of the stairs have streetside landings and are fairly boring. This one -- leading to a club called Poet -- was towards the back of a restaurant and is barely visible from outside. The restaurant has one of the better live bands that perform locally; the group members and singer are from The Philippines but they cover American and British rock classics exclusively. The back of the stairs is flanked by a pair of red neon horses (as seen in the "extra" photo). It's pretty gaudy but way more interesting than anything else I have found in Kata.
