Garden Centre flower

When all else fails, a flower from a garden centre fits the bill. There was a plan to go over the road to see some spring gardens but that didn’t happen on this occasion.

We had a lovely day with friends Al and Liz in Waltham Abbey. Fine lunch, quick trip to the garden centre where chillies and tomato plants were brought, back for a slice of apple cake.

Some time was spent discussing inheritance tax forms and probate forms as Al had completed them for a relative recently. Very helpful indeed.

The day was rounded off by a meal at a Turkish restaurant in Waltham Abbey. Very good too, humus and baba ganoush to start and we all had pistachio adana for the main course.

And a trouble free ride home
