If you can't beat them...

Chiffchaff ( Phylloscopus collybita )

I have finally decided what I think this bird is, I thought I was going to have to title is a "WillowChaff" or a Chaffwillow".  The two warblers (willow warbler and chiffchaff) are very difficult to tell apart.  They are easily separated by their songs and calls but sat indoors having lunch makes hearing a bird at the other side of the garden impossible.

I have decided it is a Chiffchaff for the following reasons:
Dark Legs (not infallible some Willow Warblers have dark legs)
Shorter primary feathers
A less pronounced supercilium (the white stripe above the eye)
Slightly dull colouring.
