Compton Verney

It’s years since I last visited and today’s weather was perfect. The beauty of the park, with those amazing Cedars of Lebanon, was truly enhanced by the blue skies.

Excellent exhibitions in the gallery, and I love their permanent paintings and sculpture too.

But for me today, it was the Sculpture in the Park which was the highlight. My blip shows the bronze and lacquer sculpture “Naked Venus” by Erika Verzutti, with the House across the lake. 

I was a bit surprised at the huge admission price increase, but there was just so much to see…..
