Im/moveable impediment

Golf rules permit certain objects to be moved if they're in the way. This lovely little calf would doubtless be allowed but shooing her off whilst her Mum,  Aunties and Cousins were close by didn't feel like a good plan. So we passed on this hole!

Askernish GC in S Uist was fairly hard work, with loooong holes and 'wildlife' (plenty of ewes and tiny lambs aswell!) but it was good fun to play. We arrived late after a series of minor setbacks this morning, so only managed six holes in the end, but it was worth the trip. 

Mileages are measured differently here. With mostly single track roads and plenty of passing places there was no issue other than the Postman Pat up and down-ness and plenty of blind summits and bends (fun stuff!). So 20 miles becomes at least 30 minutes' journey. At least!!

But who's rushing? Stunning scenery (extra) and walking opportunities (extra) ...
