The clue's in the name

Off to the Outer Hebrides, staying in N Uist for 10 days. The MV Hebrides was well equipped with cafe, coffee bar and various seating areas so the journey passed reasonably quickly. The weather isn't great though so no incentive to  get outside and look at the scenery/ possible passing wildlife. I think I'm getting soft!

We made it to the campsite fine after dawdling along the scenic, northerly route. The SatNav always wants to get you there asap, zeeming being the priority, so we chose to completely ignore it. 

We've been to the campsite before on a birdwatching trip as it's sited on an RSPB Nature Reserve.  A restful evening listening to the 'smew' of courting Lapwings and cattle munching over the fence. Lovely.
