Looking Grand

I was Run Director at Parkrun this week in the lovely sunshine with 105 walkers and runners taking part.  The blossom trees in the park are blooming and it was an enjoyable couple of hours.  I walked back through St Ives and paused to say hello to Tony who was busy pulling out rhododendrons with the woodland team.  After I passed by the bog, I heard lots of birdcalls and set my Merlin app going.  Amongst the regulars there were several chiff chaffs and blackcaps up in the canopy. both of which I have yet to see outside of books.  Maybe I should go back with my big lens on the next sunny day.
