Behold! The Colour Purple!

Yes..more flowers...an emergency blip situation again - another back-blip! Falling behind truly is my forté... 

It was a busy day, the highlight of which was spending the morning in a local coffee shop catching up with an old friend from my teaching days..I had not seen her for over a year...and she lives in the same town! Another example of me "falling behind"!  

We had a lot of catching up to do...and I must say, I felt less sorry for myself afterward, realizing that other folks have tough times too -and much tougher ones than mine...and that it helps if one can laugh..which we did - a lot!
