Cocktails ‘n’ Canvas

Laura and I went for a wild swim in Redbrook this morning. We got there at 8:30 just as the sun was thinking about winking through the clouds. It was rather chilly up there on the moors but it was lovely to be there in the water. We stayed in about twenty minutes then warmed up with our hot drinks and Laura’s homemade flapjack.

I had a shower to try and warm up at home then I went to Sue’s. We were booked in to do a pop up painting along with her neighbour Andy at Grape and Graze in Tyldesley. We were given a cocktail as we arrived then Emma did a step by step class on painting our owls. We all followed the same basics, but we chose our own colours and applied our own styles and every owl had its own personality. It was great fun and we had a laugh…the wine helped with that too!
