Variations on a Theme

Another crop of newly glazed pieces collected today.   This the nicest, a repeat of the recently shared magic combination, this time on a slightly larger vase of a different shape to my usual efforts.  The colours are similar, the effect just as pleasing.  Happy!

Another quiet day mostly at home recharging my batteries.   Laundry, food, a little admin later on.  A walk for Meg and a stop at pottery to collect this and other pieces.  Mum, Chris and Jamie came round for a cold buffet tea which involved almost zero effort on my part ... although the washing up awaits my attention.  Nice too to chat with Tilda who had stayed here after joining the wedding reception party last night.  Their new job is going well and some choice good things had come their way this week too.  A happy chat :-)
