California Towhee

Did you know that the Photos app on your phone can identify birds and plants and animals? I didn’t go for a walk today, but I figure if I was digging, raking, moving furniture, sweeping, and weeding it must count for something. It was a beautiful warm day,  the new tomatoes look strong and happy, and the flowers out back are stunning. There’s a new color every day, iris competing with rose for most outrageous. April is the best month in our garden.
