Another Day, Another Iris

I think I’ve used that title at least once before, but hey, it’s spring, and there’s a different flower opening up every morning. The roses are poised to  burst, but right now it’s mostly fruit trees in blossom, so the predominant color is white, with a sprinkling of irises in many tones of purple. I don’t know what happened to the other colors, maybe gophers ate them over the winter.
Friday means Knitting Group, and then I sat out back and read a mystery. The high was 82, so I felt safe taking the frost blanket off the tomato bed. Life is good.
