Plant samples

Quick snap of the plant samples on the reception desk at the Botanics building as we were leaving after choir. The intended audience must be staff, since this isn't a building normally open to the public.

From left to right:

Chaenomeles speciosa (Chinese quince)
 Found: South JHG doors meadow

Fritillaria imperialis 'aurora'
Found: Biodiversity Garden

Tulipa sylvestris
Found: Rock Garden

Muscari aucheri
Found: Rock Garden

Fritillaria meleagris
Found: East Gate

A morning walk by George V park with late daffodils; an afternoon walk to McDonald Road between people doing work, then the evening walk to the Botanics. Very pleasant to have the walk out and back in daylight and dry weather although it's not warm.
