In For a Snack

I haven't been able to identify this rather 'handsome' fly. They were searching around on the hood of my car for a snack and found a tiny piece of something yellowish, pollen perhaps. My white on white car sits for part of the day in almost full sun. As the air cools down a bit in the afternoon, tiny insects fly in to sit on the still-warm car. This provides me the opportunity for some interesting macro photos.
