It's a hotel

Quick emergency blip of the Novotel that looks over Buchanan Galleries as I hastily walked back to the car park to meet P.  Just at the right time to catch the setting sunlight on the top.  Still not sure what the thing sticking out of the top is though. 

Had a lovely evening eating Thai food and catching up with former colleague and friend C who was in town for one night for work.  Great to see her and she's looking forward to her trip back to Yorkshire and to hear the story of the faithful dog at Garsdale station, as is tradition on the Settle-Carlisle line.
