Not This Year

It is with a heavy heart that I must report the death of Mildred ( the Pen of our local pair of Swans  known as George & Mildred) from a dog attack while sitting on this years clutch.  CRT had placed signs requesting dogs be kept on leads in the nests location. As followers of my journal will know G&M and their offspring have made numerous appearances when I was at full walking capacity. I am more than a little numbed by how the dog owner could walk away and not report the attack.
