I Can't Believe it's Home Made!

Cookies n Cream ice cream. And yes, it's home made, by me!

This is the real deal, it's cream based, with crushed Oreo cookies, chopped up Crunchie Bars (milk chocolate-covered honeycomb), and has flecks of milk chocolate throughout. And even more amazing, it's ridiculously easy to make! And of course, it's incredibly delicious!




Yesterday's Angel Wing Sky blip takes on a new, and somewhat sad significance. When we travelled out of town to get this shot yesterday, we were travelling behind a big blue truck. I decided at the last minute to turn off and head towards Pleasant Point, the truck continued onwards to Temuka. About two minutes later, that truck struck and killed a pedestrian. It was a sad accident. As far as I'm aware, the truck driver was not at fault, the unfortunate soul wasn't looking where they were going and wandered onto the road.

The spooky thing is, those angel wing clouds were right above where the accident happened.
