Male Mallards

A lazy Saturday. I had planned to spring clean the conservatory, but it has been raining and my arm is aching from the Covid spring booster I had yesterday. Not a good combination when I need the doors open so I can move things around.   
 
Today’s picture is of two male Mallards resting by the pond. They are being harassed by the baby Moorhens who keep running close to them. I have put down some grain for them, which is why they are going near the Mallards.
 
The temperature at noon today was ten degrees Celsius.
