Sunny Rhyl
SUNDAY
I spent a couple of hours in the garden this morning pulling up and cutting back more Cotoneaster which, when we moved in exactly a year ago today, was threatening to take over the back garden. I also had to water the hanging baskets and pots as we have not seen any significant rain in the last week.
A cool, sunny morning gave way to a warmer afternoon. Late afternoon I headed over to Rhyl to collect a new cordless hedge trimmer and after, a coffee at the 1891 bar, I had a walk on the promenade and beach. The seafront was relatively busy with families, detectorists, dog walkers and a lone windsurfer.
