Slingsby Place

I'm in London for a few days with my friend Dom. Found out today that he's graduated Kings College London with First in War Studies (Clever dick) so we headed out for dinner with his friend Steffan. We mooched around Covent Garden for a while until we hit on Giovanni's, a small italian place down one of the side streets and immediately knew we'd hit onto a winner! The food was incredible! Traditional italian fayre accompanied by opera on the stereo. Dom went for the liver which was the best ive ever tasted whilst Steffan and I decided on the Rivoltini, rolls of beef stuffed with pecorino cheese, herbs and accompanied with a delicious tomato sauce. We then hit some cocktail bars, a few more bars, Ronnie Scotts and The Empire Casino before collapsing back home in the small hours.

There is very little better than catching up with one of your best mates, especially after a couple of months of radio silence.
