League of Women Voters at the Hollyhock Parade

Every year my neighborhood has a Fourth of July Parade. It's a small local thing, but it attracts the mayor, state and federal legislators, including US Senator Debbie Stabinow this year. I liked this enthusiastic group of women and took the photo in B&W to reflect the historic nature of their costumes and political issue.
